Definition

An alternative advertiser number is a number that can be freely assigned by the publisher. This number uniquely identifies the advertiser independently of the business partner number assigned to them in the IS-M System.

Use

It describes the number assigned to the advertiser by the agency that places the order.

When orders are processed in conjunction with publishing service companies, the alternative advertiser number is used to save the customer number for the relevant service company.
