Documentation
Definition
You can specify in the definition of your own monitors how the names of the monitoring tree elements should be created in the structure of the alert monitoring tree.
An MTE is identified by a total of four name parts:
- System: The system to which the associated monitoring attribute refers
- Kontext: The monitoring context (the root node of a monitoring tree)
- Object : The monitoring object
- Short name: The short name of the MTE
The long name of the dialog response time is, for example <System ID>\<Context_name>\...\Dialog\ResponseTime with Dialog as the monitoring object and ReponseTime as the short name of the MTE. When you are creating or editing a rule node, you can either display the long MTE name or any of the four parts mentioned above that make up the long name.
