Definition
Shows whether the display in the alert monitor should include MTEs that are not currently functioning. Data for such MTEs cannot be collected because of one of the problems shown in the following list.
The problems that can result in defective MTEs include the following:
- A monitoring segment has been set to "offline", that is, the information-gathering from the monitoring segment has been de-activated.
- There is a communication problem with the remote server on which a monitoring segment is located. Data from this segment could not be collected.
- The remote server on which a monitoring segment is located has been shutdown. Data from this segment could not be collected.
In all of these cases, the MTEs for which data could not be collected are marked as defective.
Non-functional MTEs do not include those that have been marked inactive. Inactive MTEs are those in which the data supplier program has not delivered information within the time limit required. In inactive MTEs, there is therefore likely to be a problem with the data supplier.

Use
Procedure
Select this option to display incorrect monitor tree elements (MTEs) in the alert monitor.
Incorrect MTEs are tree elements for which no data could be collected. Possible causes of this are:
- The monitor segment displayed in the MTE was set offline (see Transaction RZ21).
- The system or server where a monitor segment is located is inactive
- There are problems with the RFC connection to the target system or server.
