Definition

A group operation is part of the Report Definition of the Central Performance History. The operation specifies for a group whether multiple values of the CPH are to be combined for a data point of the report and which calculation formula is to be used to do so.

The following group operations exist. They specify how the performance values for a point in time are to be combined:

  • Individual values: the values are not combined, but displayed individually
  • Weighted mean value: An average value is calculated from the values. The individual values are weighted over the number of measurements in each case.
  • Simple mean value: An average value is calculated from the values without considering the number of measurement points
  • Total: The individual measurement values are totaled
  • Minimum: The minimum of the measured values is displayed
  • Maximum: The maximum of the measured values is displayed
