Name of a monitoring attribute in the alert monitor. In the monitoring tree, a monitoring attribute is always an end-node in the hierarchy, a "leaf" in the monitoring tree.
A monitoring attribute is the receptacle into which a data supplier reports data. A monitoring attribute is also the monitoring tree element in which alerts can be triggered.
