Tells the monitoring architecture how to interpret the information that you enter in the "New values for messages" table on this screen. Message IDs and formats vary with the type of message, so it is necessary that you specify the format of the messages that are reported into this log attribute.
Procedure
Specify the type of message that is being reported to this log attribute.
For SAP system log attributes, choose the system log option.
For messages from SAP components, choose the "T100" option.
For messages from an external system management program, choose the "XMI" option.
