Definition
Use these fields to choose the selection values for rules.
Procedure
The R3System parameter lets you choose the systems to include in your monitor. Use the possible entries help to display the systems that can be included. Choose from the following:
- <ALL> to include all systems known to the alert monitor
- <CURRENT> to set the new monitor to the system you are currently working on
- One of the systems known to the monitor.
The <MTEclass> parameter has a different meaning depending on the rule that you have selected.
- If you have selected the CCMS_GET_MTE_BY_CLASS rule, the <MTEclass> parameter lets you select monitoring objects and attributes (actual monitoring functionality) for your monitor. The MTE class is displayed as a real node in the monitoring tree, that is, the MTE is monitored by the alert monitor.
- If you have selected the CCMS_GET_MTE_BY_CLASS_AS_VIRTUAL rule, the <MTEclass> parameter lets you include the MTE class as a virtual node in the tree. These virtual nodes are used as "headings" under which you can group together MTEs. You must then choose the CCMS_GET_MTE_BY_CLASS_UNDER_CLASS rule to specify the MTE classes you want to include as real nodes in the monitoring tree. .
When you select the CCMS_GET_MTE_BY_CLASS_UNDER_CLASS rule, the <ChildMTEclass> parameter lets you include MTE classes as real nodes in the monitoring tree.
