Documentation
Definition
At this time, the owner of a context is a purely logical value. It does not necessarily correspond to a user in the SAP system nor does is it assigned according to a systematic naming convention.
Fixed values include
- SAP_CCMS_*. This means that a context was created by the SAP CCMS group, which develops the monitoring architecture. The context therefore belongs to the monitoring functionality that is pre-defined by SAP.
- Hardware/Software vendor names. This means that a context was created by a data supplier program that belongs to a third-party partner of SAP.
The context owner is specified in the function module call with which a monitoring context is created in the alert monitor. This call typically is made in a data supplier program. For more information, please see the data supplier programming documentation, available from ccms@sap-ag.de.
