Procedure
Enter the time period to check for the most serious alert.
The alert monitor evaluates all messages that were added to the log during this time period, starting from the present time. From these messages, it chooses the one that produced the most serious alert. This message is displayed in the alert monitor as the current value of this monitoring attribute.
Use the checkboxes next to this field to specify whether the period is in minutes or in hours.
Examples
You have chosen the highest alert in the last... option. You want the alert monitor always to display the log message with the highest alert of the last 30 minutes. Enter 30 in this field and mark Minutes to specify the time unit.
