Definition
Indicates the cumulative quantity of materials which the component supplier needs to procure for the manufacture of parts and which the customer is obliged to purchase over the validity period of the current delivery schedule/JIT delivery schedule. It results from the quantity of parts requested by the customer in the current delivery schedule/JIT delivery schedule.
Use
When a new delivery schedule is entered in the system, a warning message is issued if the quantities in the new delivery schedule lead to the cumulative material go-ahead quantity being reduced. You can ignore the warning and continue processing. The matter can then be clarified with the customer at a later point in time.
