Definition

This field controls whether the field belonging to the archive info structure must be filled in order to write a data record. Therefore the system only creates an entry in the information structure if the field content of the affected field is not empty.

This flag is only valid for key fields. Whether a data record is written to an info structure depends only on the key fields, never on the data fields.

Further notes

The field catalog defines whether a key field is mandatory.
