Definition

Specifies on which remote database the structure tables for a specific infostructure are to be created. An entry in this field overwrites the central, system-wide database connection for the archive information system on infostructure level.

Note:
At the time the entry is changed, the infostructure cannot be active and no structure tables may exist.

Use

Dependencies

The following conditions must be met:

• Only those database connections entered in table DBCON are permitted.
• The database system of the Enterprise Edition of Sybase IQ is the sole remote database that is supported for the archive information system.

The system checks whether both prerequisites have been fulfilled. If this is not the case, the entry is rejected.
