Definition

Specifies whether the structure tables for archive infostructures are to be created on a remote database. The database connection entered here is valid across all systems. By default, it is used for all infostructures that are not active at the time the change is made and for which there are no structure tables.

Use

Dependencies

The following conditions must be met:

• Only those database connections entered in table DBCON are permitted.
• The database system of the Enterprise Edition of Sybase IQ is the sole remote database that is supported for the archive information system.

The system checks whether both prerequisites have been fulfilled. If this is not the case, the entry is rejected.
