Role Name
A role is used to selecte a menu and to generate an appropriate authorization profile for it. The role can then be assigned to users.

Use
You can assign standard roles directly to users using the administrator functions in the SAP Easy Access menu.
If you want to change a standard role, select the desired role using the input help for this field and copy it. Note that roles delivered by SAP begin with the prefix 'SAP_'. If you want to create your own user roles, do not use the SAP namespace.
To accelerate the search for roles that match particular transactions, choose the Where-Used List for Transactions in Roles button.
