Use

Names of the table fields involved in view selection conditions.

The field conditions do not necessarily refer only to the fields belonging to the view. They can be specified for any fields from the source base tables.

Procedure

Use

Names of table fields to be transferred from the tables belonging to the matchcode object.

The key fields of all tables relevant for the matchcode object are displayed automatically. These fields are indicated accordingly in the Key column.

Procedure

All fields to be used in any matchcode ID for this object must be transferred to the matchcode object. Also, the matchcode object must contain at least all primary key fields for the tables involved, providing they are not also external key fields.

The sequence of fields in the matchcode object is unimportant.

To select fields, place the cursor on the name of the table you require and choose Select Fields or Edit -> Select Fields. The fields of the tables in question are displayed and can be transferred to the matchcode object.

If two fields from different tables have the same name, you must enter a new name in the MC Field for at least one field.

Use

Names of the table fields that go into the lock arguments.

Procedure

As the system automatically determines the lock arguments, you cannot make any changes here.

If there are fields from different tables that have the same name in this column, you must enter different names for these fields in the Lock Arg. column.

Examples

Supplementary Documentation - AFX_DTE_FIELDNAME120011

Use

Names of the table fields to be locked.

As standard, all fields of the tables protected by the lock object are entered here with * .

Procedure

If you want to change this default setting, that is, only lock particular fields of a table, enter these fields here or transfer the relevant fields from a field list.

To do this, carry out the following steps:

  1. Delete the lines that contain * .
  2. Place the cursor on the table from which you want to transfer fields.
  3. Choose Edit -> Select Fields or Select Fields.
  4. In the following screen, enter the mode in the first column before the fields you want to transfer.
  5. Return to the initial screen. You now see the selected fields here.

Examples

Supplementary Documentation - AFX_DTE_FIELDNAME120012

Use

Names of the lock parameters.

By default, the system enters the names of the table fields as the names of the lock parameters.

Procedure

Here you have the option of assigning new names for the lock parameters.

The names of the lock parameters must be unique.

Examples

Dependencies

You have to assign new names for lock parameters if there are fields with the same name from different tables, to retain the uniqueness of the names of the lock parameters.

Procedure

If you maintain a field restriction yourself, enter the field that is to influence the creation of the event here.

Examples

Dependencies

You must make an entry in the "Field Name" input field. If you want to make the event creation dependent on creation or deletion of entries in the table entered, enter KEY as the field name.
