Documentation
Definition
Status of changes belonging to a change number. The following statuses are possible:
- In process:
Changes have not yet been checked and are not operative. At this stage, the data may still contain inconsistencies. If this is the case, these errors are displayed when the structures are checked. - Checked:
The changes have been checked, meaning that any inconsistencies have now been corrected. At this stage, the change number is ready to be released, but the changes are not active in the system until this takes place. - Unchecked:
A 'checked' change number is assigned the status 'unchecked' if further modifications are made after the checking procedure is completed. Similarly to the status 'in process', the data might now be inconsistent and the structures must therefore be checked again before release is possible. - Released:
All the changes made on this change number have been checked and released, meaning that they are now used in processing.
Generally, no further alterations should be made to changes once they are released, since the status would then return to 'unchecked' and the check and release procedures would have to be repeated. If, however, you want to do this, there is a setting available in the central function for parameter maintenance.
