Definition
The conditional TEI SPD specifies the date on which the invoiced goods were dispatched to the customer. It satisfies the customs requirement of establishing a tax point on invoices which contain value added tax.
When a replacement invoice is issued, the Invoice Date (IND) may differ from the Invoice Tax Point Date (TEI SPD), when the goods were actually dispatched.
Dependencies
Invoice Tax Point Date (SPD) along with Tax Registration Number (TRN) must always be used wherever VAT (Value Added Tax) is applicable.
