Definition
Order Quantity is the quantity (conforming to the Unit of Measure) originally ordered by the customer or subsequently revised for the specified Order Number, Part Number, Specified Shipping Date and Ship To Code.
Dependencies
- If the order quantity falls below the minimum level subscribed to by the supplier, the latter has the discretion to either increase the quantity or even decrease the quanitty and send an order exception to the customer.
- Order Quantity is always accompanied by SCD (Scheduled Shipping Date). Any changes in QTO must necessarily indicate order number, part number (of the replacing part) and the increased (ICQ) or decreased (DCQ) quantity besides the order quantity.
