Definition
Total Control Quantity is the sum of all Order Quantities in an S1BOOKED order transmission or in R1CPOXMT, R1CPOACK, R1EXCXMT or R1EXCACK repair order transmissions.
Dependencies
Must always be referenced along with RPC (Repair Process Code) TEI.
The QTL field always needs to be validated before processing the individual order number. In case the edits do not match, the entire order is rejected.

In the above Repair Order Placement Acknowledgement message, the Purchase Order Count (POC) will be checked to ensure two orders are received and then the QTO of the orders will be added and compared against the QTL before transmission.
