Definition

Procurement Discount Percent specifies the trade discount percent (to two decimal places)applicable to the Unit Price Amount and Repair Price Amount. The associated price break information is also discounted.

Dependencies

Procurement Discount Percent is the customized discount percent derived from the Discount Matrix Table designed by a supplier.

The supplier must comply with the following to offer customized discounts to their customers:

  1. Set up discount matrix data in the Central Discount Matrix Data Base. A combination of customer and product code from this database will display a discount percent and also the corresponding effective date.
  2. Assign a Customer Category Code (CCC) to the customers who are to receive a discount, by following the ATA Viewing Rights process
  3. Assign a Product Category Code (PCC) to the part number(s) to be discounted following either the normal batch, online or Internet updating process to the Central Procurement Data Base
