Documentation
Definition
Unit in which the quantity of a material to which an additional is assigned was entered in a reference document.
Use
Three units of measure are important for additionals:
- In a reference document, the quantity of a material is entered in a particular unit of measure. 4 pallets of chocolate Easter bunnies are entered in a goods receipt document.
- The additional itself is assigned for a material of a particular unit of measure. In the example, the Easter bunnies could have a separate tag assigned to them.
- If the additional is automatically ordered due to a follow-up action, the additionals order is always in the base unit of measure.
