Documentation
Definition
Quantity used of a material assigned to the additional.
Use
the quantity specified here is entered in the reference document. It is used as a basis for calculating the number of additionals required. The system does not only convert to a different unit of measure. The quantity may have to be rounded off.
Example
100 boxes of Easter bunnies are entered at goods receipt. Each box contains 8 Easter bunnies. Each bunny has to be ticketed. The ticket is available in the unit of measure piece.
In the example, the quantity entered at goods receipt of 100 boxes is converted to 800 pieces. If the additional has been assigned a rounding profile, the latter quantity may be changed. For example, you can define that you want 2% more, resulting in 816 tickets being generated.
