Definition
Unit of measure that is defined as the sales unit in a material's master data.
Use
Every unit of measure maintained in the material master can be assigned its own additionals. Whatever additionals are assigned, however, only one unit of measure can be defined as the sales unit in the material master.
Notes
When information is exchanged via EDI, the ISO code for units of measure is used.
