Definition
Unit of measure in which the stocks of the material are managed.
Use
All quantities that you enter in the system in the various units of measure available are converted to the base unit of measure. In Inventory Management, the base unit of measure and the stockkeeping unit are synonymous.
When information is exchanged via EDI, the ISO code for units of measure is used.
