Definition

Describes a name component that is an additional title of a natural person to indicate academic training.

Use

The possible academic titles (or academic qualifications) are stored in a check table.

You can define the academic titles and their descriptions in Customizing.

You can

  • use the possible entries help
  • enter a valid academic title
  • or enter the associated key.

The system checks whether the entry is valid, using the texts in the value table.

The academic title is displayed in text form, and its key is stored in the database.
