Accept errors from regional structure check with warning
Use
You can check addresses against the regional structure to ensure that they are postally correct. For more information, see the documentation on the Business Address Services (BAS) (cf. Note 383362) in the chapter 'Checking Addresses', of the section 'Regional Structure'.
For particular scenarios (for example, initial load or distribution between systems), it can make sense to accept the address data (with warning) even though it deviates from the regional structure.
This parameter can be used for this purpose.
Dependencies
The indicator works in the same way on the result of the checks that are implemented in BAdI ADDRESS_CHECK, for example, by third parties.
Example
Data distribution between the ERP system and CRM:
In the ERP system, a customer master record is created in the dialog. The user receives a popup with the information that the address has errors, and confirms that the data is to be saved nevertheless. The data is distributed to CRM. Posting takes place in the background. To post the data that deviates from the regional structure without triggering an error message in CRM, this indicator is set in the address interface.
