Definition
During plan data handling the overhead surcharges can be recalculated.
When you plan costs for a project object, such as a network activity, you can also calculate planned overhead surcharges based on the other planned costs. In the case of network activities, the calculation of overhead surcharges is performed automatically when the costs for the network are calculated. The planned overhead surcharge rates can depend on the plan version. For network activities this plan version is always 000.
Plan data handling allows you to recalculate the overhead surcharges with the rates specified for the target version.
Example
You copy plan data from version 000 (source) to version 001 (target). For an activity you plan the following:
Costs Amount
Labor 1000
G&A OH 200
The overhead surcharge rate was 20% of the labor costs.
If the rate is 15% in the target version and you choose to copy the plan data with recalculation of the overhead surcharges you get the following result:

Labor 1000
G&A OH 150
