Definition
Required unit that gives the customer a Credit Limit and monitors this. A credit control area can cover one or more Company Codes.
It is also possible to give the credit control area separately for each posting if this is marked in the corresponding company code.
When creating an order the credit control area can also be determined via the business area as well as using a user exit.
That means that the relationship between company code and credit control area is released.
In the company code table only the default credit contol area is set. This is reffered to when no credit control area is entered or one cannot be determined.
There is also a table of the permitted credit contol areas for each company code that is, however, only used for input checks.
