Documentation
Use
This indicator for account determination is used to assign a G/L account to an FM account assignment..
If you use the characteristic, then you can make this assignment specifically different to the rule.
The program differentiates for the G/L account determination if the characteristic was assigned to an account or not:
- If the characteristic is assigned to an account in the document, then the program tries to find the G/L account with this characteristic.
If no FI G/L account is found after the first four attempts, then the program searches for the FI G/L account using masking. When searcing with masking, the characteristic is ignored. - In documents, for which the characteristic cannot be assigned to an account, the characteristic is also ignored.
For more information on the G/L account determination functions, see the description on commitment item.
