Definition
This flag is relevant when you create and change accrual objects
- If the flag is set, only accrual items with a total amount to be accrued of +/- zero will be created in the Accrual Engine.
- If the flag is not set, accrual items with a total amount to be accrued of zero will also be created in the Accrual Engine.
This can be a good idea if, for example, instead of distributing an accrual amount over several periods, you want the accrual method to determine the periodic accrual amount in a different way.
Example: Only one total amount to be accrued is known in the application Employee Awards. The accrual method carries out a periodic valuation of this quantity.
