Documentation
Definition
The basic data in the Accrual Engine is time-dependent:
When basic data is changed, the system stores the change history in the Accrual Engine.
Changes are always valid from the key date of the change.
This means that a key date must be specified in order to be able to display basic data. The system then displays the data valid on the key date.
See also the documentation on date fields in Basic Data in the Accrual Engine.
Note:
When displaying basic data, you can also display "calculated accruals". These accruals are always calculated for the entire life of the accrual subobject, i.e. from beginning to end. The calculation therefore ends on the key date.
