Definition
The variables for calculating accrual amounts are "placeholders" that can be used by each component in the Accrual Engine in a specific way in order to store interim results or variables used for calculating periodic accruals.
To provide a more orderly display on the screen, these data elements (= placeholders) can be assigned to specific data elements (view V_ACE_DE_MAPPING). It will then be possible to see the texts for the assigned data elements.
