Documentation

Definition

When Accrual Engine documents are transferred to Accounting, several Accrual Engine documents can be summarized to an Accounting document. The reference key is used to ensure agreement between Accounting and the Accrual Engine at document level.

The Accounting documents contain the same reference key as the Accrual Engine documents belonging to them.

The reference key is made up of the following characteristics:

  • Reference document number
See the documentation for the corresponding IMG-Aktivität in Accrual Engine Customizing.
  • Company code
  • Fiscal year

See also the general documentation on reference keys in the Accounting document.

If no entry is made for the reference key, this means that this Accrual Engine document has not yet been transferred to Accounting. If this occurs, see the following notes.
