Documentation
Definition
Basis of business Customizing within an Accounting component (Accounting Engine, General Ledger, Financial Inventory Ledger). The accounting system refers to a data basis and uses at least one part of the characteristic space as its characteristics. It is a required transfer parameter in all interfaces when the data basis is not used with the exception of the Business Transaction interface.
Use
The transaction data structures (documents, totals) are generated specifically for the accounting system.
Once the business transaction data (source documents) has been transferred to the Accounting Engine, the system uses the entry information to determine which accounting systems are affected (provided that the accounting system is not passed on to the interface with the valuated business transactions).
Dependencies
As an accounting system has a unique reference to a data basis, a data basis can always be derived from an accounting system.
