Definition
An accounting method indicates the requirements according to which accounting takes place.
Used in revenue accrual.
- German accounting method:
Revenue cannot be realized until billing document creation.
- Anglo-American accounting method:
Revenue is realized independently of the billing document. Revenue takes effect with creation of the service, i.e. with the delivery.
