Definition
Table T503 employee groups/subgroups defines employee subgroup groupings for primary wage types and standard wage maintenance.
It defines the position in the permissibility string at which the system checks an entry.
Examples:

If the employee subgroup grouping for primary wage types PrimWage is given the value '2' in table T503 employee group/subgroup,then the position 2 will be checked in table T511 WageTypes.
In the above example, the permissibility string blank is assigned to the position 2 i.e. the wage type is not permissible for employee subgroup grouping.
Permissible values:
- blank: Wage type not permissible for employee subgroup grouping
- 1: Permissible for employee subgroup grouping
- 2: Permissible with warning for employee subgroup grouping
In this example, the wage type is permissible for the employee subgroup groupings '1', '3', '4', '8'.
Application:
To restrict certain wages types only to industrial workers or salaried employees.
