An employee subgroup grouping for primary wage types is a grouping of employee subgroups with the same primary wages types.
Use
This allows you to restrict specific wage types to certain employee groups and subgroups.
Make the necessary settings in Customizing in personnel administration.

PAYROLL CATEGORY
Definition
The payroll category is used to check the validity of wage types for the employee group and subgroup. This allows you to limit certain wage types to specific employee groups and subgroups.
Wage types are checked using the permissibility string defined in
table T511.
