Definition
A key for the tax calculation type for write-offs.
Use
The tax calculation type determines the way in which tax amounts for an open item are taken into consideration and written off.
Example
A partial payment of 20 was already made for a receivable of 116 including 16% tax (100 revenue and 16 tax). The remaining open item of 96 is to be written off.
- The calculation type given states that the open amount is to be written off on a percentage basis. The amount 96 is therefore divided as a percentage into revenue 83 and tax 13 and written off.
- The calculation type given states that the tax must be considered first, and then the revenue. The tax is therefore considered as having already been paid and the revenue of 96 written off.
