Definition

The following meter reading reasons exist:

• Period meter reading
• Interim meter reading with/without billing
• Control meter reading
• Territory transfer with/without billing

You can also enter meter readings for a technical device installation before the device has been installed. To do this, upload meter readings using the ISU_MR_UPLOAD IDoc or BAPI. In certain cases, you can also create a meter reading manually, using single entry.

When the device is installed, the meter reading you entered is automatically applied.
