Definition
Uses a key with a maximum of two characters to specify why the final account assignment indicator was set for an account assignment item. You can see the description of the two-character ID in the text of the final account assignment reason.
Use
If you have selected the final account assignment checkbox for an account assignment item, you can enter a reason why you want to limit the posting of further quantities or amounts to this account assignment item. When you are processing a purchase order item, the system suggests possible final account assignment reasons in the input help, and you can select one that is suitable.
Dependencies
In Customizing for Materials Management, under Purchasing --> Purchase Order --> Specify Final Account Assignment Reasons, you can specify all final account assignment reasons that you want to be available in input help during processing of a purchase order item. In Customizing you assign to each final accounting assignment reason an alphanumeric key with a maximum of two characters, and create a language-dependent description for each one.
