Definition
This selection is used to define whether and, if so, how handling units are created for Vehicle Space Optimization when picking has been completed.
Picking is regarded as completed when the last delivery of the shipment has achieved the picking status of "completely processed". If the Warehouse Management is used for the picking of the deliveries (Logistics Execution -> Warehouse Management), the WM status must also have the "completely processed" value.
You can choose among the following processes:
- Do not create HUs automatically
- Create VSO packing proposals as HUs automatically
If you choose this process, the system automatically creates a handling unit for every contained VSO packing proposal when picking for a shipment has been completed. - Create VSO packing proposals and means of transportation as HUs automatically
In case of this process, the system creates, in addition to the handling unit per VSO packing proposal, a handling unit for the means of transportation. As a result, this handling unit contains the complete shipment.
