If this indicator is set, the packaging material is to be applied as the standard packaging material of the means of transportation. You have to assign exactly one standard packaging material to every means of transportation.
Use
Vehicle Space Optimization uses the standard packaging material if you have not defined a packaging material for the customer or vendor. Hence follows that the standard packaging material has the lowest priority level for Vehicle Space Optimization whereas the packaging material specified for the customer has the highest priority.
