Documentation
Definition
Different materials can be combined by means of a packing group.
The packing group is used to determine the layer pattern of a packaging material.
Use
As a result, the layer pattern of a packaging material can be used for similar materials by entering the packing group, and need not be defined for each material separately.
Dependencies
The packing group is assigned to the material in the material master.
In Customizing, you can combine several packing groups to form a package type. The overstackability matrix can be set up by means of this type.
