Definition
By means of the selected optimization model the system controls calculating the vehicle space optimization. The following optimization models are made available:
- Maximize Unused loading area
The optimizer tries to maximize the unused loading area on the means of transportation, i.e. to get as much space as possible between the load and the panel of the means of transportation. - Maximize Unused loading volume
The optimizer tries to maximize the unused loading volume on the means of transportation, i.e. to get as much space as possible between the the load and the panel of the means of transportation. - Center of gravity, in center if possible
In this context the following two options need to be distinguished:
Axle positions and axle loads have been maintained
The optimizer tries to position the center of gravity of the load into the middle (as far as possible) between the axles of the means of transportation.
Axle positions and axle loads have not been maintained<
The optimizer tries to position the center of gravity of the load into the middle of the loading area of the means of transportation. - Maximum Packing density
The optimizer rates the gaps between the individual packages in percent tries to keep them as small as possible. In this case the load is packed as tightly as possible in order to minimize the necessary load securing devices (straps, wedges, and so on).
