Definition
This field identifies the line within the automatic picking zone of a warehouse.
Use
You maintain the line number in the material master and transfer it to Vehicle Space Optimization. VSO tries to combine materials with the same line number for the later picking.
The line number of the material in a packing proposal of Vehicle Space Optimization determines the from-storage type in the warehouse management (Logistics Execution - Warehouse Management). In the storage type determination procedure, the line number overrules the storage type indicator for the removal from storage.
Dependencies
Several lines may exist within the automatic picking zone of a warehouse. As the number of such a line determines the from-storage type of picking, every line must have been defined as an individual storage type.
