Definition
Determines the class that is responsible for instantiating the subviews in a tab page and adding them to the collection of subview objects in the tab page. The tab-page controller object is the parent for the subview objects.
Use
A subview is an object that is responsible for part of a tab page, or for an entire tab page. You can use several subviews when the tab page contains several areas that are relatively independent, or when the number of elements is so high that it is inefficient to handle the elements using a single subview object.
