Documentation
Definition
Specifies the application area for which authorization checks are done.
Use
The compliance workbench checks a user's authorizations to display and edit specification data. These checks are done, for example, for the header data and the data displayed directly underneath the header data. The latter depend on the view the user has selected in the workbench. The following application areas exist for authorization checks:
- Header data
- Views in the product data manager
For header data, the authorization check is done with the fixed application area CFP_HEADER_DATA. In the other cases, the selected view in the compliance workbench defines the application area.
Dependencies
With the exception of CFP_HEADER_DATA for the header data, the possible values for the application area are defined by the views of the compliance workbench. These can be configured in Customizing for SAP Product and REACH Compliance under Compliance Workbench -> Specify Compliance Workbench Views.
