Definition

Specifies the current status of the delivery of the material data sheet (MDS) to the defined recipient.

Use

When a company sends an MDS to its customers, it must track the status of these MDSs at the recipient. The recipient status affects how the recipient data can be changed and the actions that can be performed from the MDS center.

Dependencies

Example

The following status values are used in the standard system:

  • New - A new recipient is added
  • Edit - The recipient data is in edit mode
  • Modified - The recipient data was modified
  • Not Yet Browsed - The recipient has not yet viewed the MDS that was sent
  • Browsed - The recipient has viewed the MDS that was sent
  • Accepted - The recipient accepted the MDS
  • Rejected - The recipient rejected the MDS
  • Canceled by Sender - The sender canceled the MDS
