Definition
Indicates the internal key that is used by the Data Collection Tool (DCT) to identify a pure substance or substance group.
Use
The pure substance ID is generated as follows:
- If the substance contains an IMDS node ID: I:<IMDS node ID>.
- If the substance contains a pure substance ID or pure substance group ID: P:<pure substance ID/pure substance group ID>.
- If the substance contains a CAS number or a substance name: C:<CAS number>#<substance name>.
- In all other cases: S:<pure substance specification ID>.
