Documentation
Definition
Indicates that the compliance check that the regulatory list is assigned to ignores components that are not relevant.
Use
This checkbox is used within compliance checks to indicate that a non-relevant component is to be ignored when checks are executed.
Dependencies
When a composition component is marked as Not Relevant, a compliance check only ignores the component if the assigned regulatory list is set up to ignore components that are not relevant.
Example
For the REACH SVHC check, a substance within a container is to be ignored. SVHC substances only have to be aggregated to the container for the container parts; not for the substance within the container. Therefore, the substance within the container must be flagged as Not Relevant and the regulatory list that is assigned to the REACH SVHC check must be set up to ignore components that are not relevant.
